My Background

In 1989 I received my BS in Nutrition from the University of Maryland. I then completed a one year internship at Cornell - Weill Medical Center in New York City and became a registered dietitian.

I practiced for the next eight years at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, three of those years practicing with the Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Team. During that time, I completed the training to become a Certified Diabetic Educator and earned my Masters in Nutrition.

One of my favorite experiences was being an adjuct professor at New York University where I taught Clinical Nutrition to graduate nutrition students.

For over 25 years, my passion has been helping clients achieve their nutrition goals. Addressing "why" they eat is as important as "what" they eat. My clients will have an opportunity to explore the triggers that perpetuate any unhealthy eating habits and form a healthier relationship with food.
